The Beginning
Alfred Chrosziel founds the company with a clear mission: to create precision-engineered optical and mechanical tools for the film and broadcast industry. 2006
New Ownership, Same Spirit
After 33 years of visionary leadership, Alfred and Gertrud Chrosziel hand over the company to Jürgen Nußbaum and Harm Abrahams as part of a long-term succession plan. With deep industry experience and a shared passion for innovation, the new owners modernize the company while continuing its legacy of optical excellence. Their clear commitment: to uphold the Chrosziel values of precision, reliability, and uncompromising quality.
2020
Defining a New Standard in Lens Testing
With Timm Stemann joining the leadership team, Chrosziel launches the development of the TP7 II Lens Testing Projector. Engineered for maximum precision in cine and broadcast lens evaluation, the TP7 II combines advanced optical accuracy, metadata integration, and a modular test environment—all tailored to the demands of modern lens service. Today, it stands as a benchmark across the industry, trusted by professionals who rely on uncompromising quality and control.
2023
New Leadership, Stronger Vision
Chrosziel entered a dynamic new era, strategically positioning itself for sustainable growth and continued excellence. With the acquisition by Arenit Industrie SE, a robust foundation for stability, innovation, and expansion was established. Marcel Groezinger was appointed as Managing Director, strengthening Chrosziel’s pioneering spirit and customer-focused approach.
2024
Two Brands, One Vision
Following a successful strategic collaboration, Chrosziel finalizes the acquisition of the Denz CineTec division in summer 2024. As a result, both the Chrosziel and Denz brands are now represented under one roof within the CineTec segment. This enables us to offer customers a fully integrated, end-to-end portfolio of professional solutions—combining decades of experience, German engineering excellence, and a shared vision for innovation in the motion picture industry.
