Product Overview
The Chrosziel C-PAC is a portable auto collimator built for exact back-focus calibration wherever it’s needed — on the rental floor, on set, or on the truck. At its core is a 600 mm sliding optical bench mounted on a bridge plate with 19 mm carbon support rods, paired with a Mitutoyo micrometer gauge delivering 1 µm resolution and an LED Siemens star reticle for precise focus reference.
The collimator unit shifts along the z-axis to accommodate long lenses, with roughly 450 mm of clearance between mount and aperture. An 8″ LED monitor with SDI/CVBS video output gives technicians a clear live view during calibration, while the entire system runs on 12 V DC power and weighs just 8.1 kg — light enough to travel in its case without sacrificing rental-floor precision.
The setup ships complete: the collimator unit with adjustable camera sensor, a plane mirror in its holder, the micrometer block with Mitutoyo gauge and DENZ PLCIII mount, two sliding plates (BP-Multi), the 600 mm bridge plate with 19 mm lens support, two 19 mm carbon support rods, and the 8″ LED monitor with holder. Built around the DENZ PLCIII mount system, the C-PAC supports quick-change lens mounts including PL, LPL, EF, and E-Mount, making it a flexible solution for rental houses, service departments, and technicians who need dependable back-focus measurement across multiple camera and lens standards.
